- Automatic data collection and processing by the browser
- As with any website, our server automatically and temporarily collects information in the server log files which are sent through the browser, unless you have deactivated this function. If you wish to view our website we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to be able to show you our website and guarantee its stability and safety (legal basis Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR):

- the website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL)

There is no personal evaluation of the server log file. At no point can the provider connect this data to a particular person. This data is not consolidated with other data sources.
- The data cited in section 2.1, with the exception of the IP address, is also collected and processed by an additional programme which conducts statistical evaluation. The statistical evaluation is used for advertising and market research purposes and to ensure that the design of our online presence meets requirements (legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). No personal data is stored during this evaluation. Anonymous user profiles are created from the data collected. Cookies can be used for this purpose (see section 5 for general information on this topic). The data collected by the statistical programme cannot be used to personally identify the user of the website because the data is not combined with personal data.

We regularly provide information about current vacancies on our careers page and you can submit applications to us by email. Your details (name, email address, contact details, application documents) are only processed in connection with the relevant job application (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, Art. 26 German Federal Data Protection Act) or in accordance with your consent to their being used for other job applications (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). If you have consented to let us process your application data, you can revoke this at any time.
Note on sensitive data: we would like to expressly draw your attention to the fact that applications, especially CVs, references and other data that you provide to us, may contain particularly sensitive information about mental and physical health, race or ethnicity, political views, religious or philosophical convictions, membership of a union or political party or about sexuality.
If you provide us with this type of information in your online application, you give your express consent to our processing this data for the purpose of processing your application. This data will be processed in accordance with this data protection notice and the other legal provisions in force.
If your application is rejected or you are not offered the position, the data provided will be deleted 3 months after the application process closes, at the earliest. This shall not apply if there are legal provisions forbidding deletion, retention is necessary as evidence in an appeal or if you have consented to longer retention.
