Building on the unique technology of diffusion dialyses, we're proud to launch our new generation of compact systems, the
DDP4 and
DDP11 — fully automatic units designed for efficient treatment of process solutions in metal finishing, surface treatment, and a wide range of other applications for free acid/alkali recovery.
The
DDP11 is built for higher-volume applications, accommodating up to eleven membrane spiral-wound modules with a pump output of up to 220 l/h, an operating pressure of up to 2.5 bar, and integrated feed tanks (3 × 35 l + 1 × 100 l) — all within a footprint of 1970 × 1000 × 1650 mm and an empty weight of approx. 440 kg.
The more compact
DDP4 offers the same automation and reliability for smaller throughput needs, housing four modules with a pump capacity of up to 120 l/h, individual 35 l feed tanks per module, and a footprint of 1600 × 820 × 1700 mm at roughly 300 kg. Both systems run on a standard 230 V single-phase supply and feature integrated safety filtration and flexibly adjustable volume flows out of the box.
At the core of both systems is our spiral-wound membrane diffusion dialysis technology, which delivers very low energy consumption and the highest separation efficiency for metal salts — while minimizing neutralization and wastewater treatment costs, and keeping maintenance requirements low.
Whether you need the throughput of the DDP11 or the compact flexibility of the DDP4, our new product line makes high-performance diffusion dialysis accessible for a broader range of applications.
(Diffusion dialysis is a membrane separation process used to recover free acids and bases from electrolytic solutions, or to selectively exchange ions within them — and Spiraltec GmbH is the only company in the world offering spiral-wound membrane modules suitable for countercurrent flow operation, the configuration that delivers the process's highest efficiency.)
